Real estate agent, Aida Matos, brings many appreciated talents to Extravagant Realty. Not only is Aida a licensed real estate salesperson, she is also a registered tax return preparer, a certified-and-background-screened notary signing agent, a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and, the business owner of Audubon Financial Services.

Aida’s 15-year background in accounting and the mortgage industry, including stints as a loan processor, loan officer and underwriter, makes her an invaluable asset to Extravagant. “My primary role is to educate my clients and to provide them with all of the tools, information and resources they need to make an informed decision, one of the biggest decisions in their lives that often affects the entire family,” says Aida. “And my combined years of experience helps me to better serve my clients to help them make those life-changing decisions.”

Aida is a single mom to Ryan, 10 and Brianna, 8, as well as many pets, including a bird, dogs, cats, fish and turtles. She is currently also a host family to foreign exchange students. “It is a wonderful experience to meet people from other countries and to have them as part of our own family while they are so far away from their own.”

Aida extends her nurturing ways to her career. “I get great satisfaction from being able to put my energy into getting to know, and helping, all of my client as ‘real people’ and to taking care of them from beginning to end.” Aida’s motto: “If my client is happy, I am happy.”

The Ossining native has moved throughout the metro region, including Putnam and Bronx counties, but has returned to be close to family and long-time friends. She reaches out to the community by volunteering whenever possible, and participates in the annual Breast Cancer Walk. In her spare time, Aida enjoys visiting parks and traveling to new locations to introduce her children to historical sites, as well as working on projects together as a family.
